Ensure that your MacBook Pro is one of the A1706 or A1708 models and is Space Gray in color. The delivery does not include a Lid Angle Sensor – this must be ordered separately.

Installation Note

Installation should be performed by a skilled person. After replacing the display, a new Lid Angle Sensor must be installed. Afterwards, the Repair Assistant is available on the device for calibration (requires macOS 26 or newer). Follow the instructions in the repair manual for this type of repair.
