Ensure that your MacBook is model A1534 (Early 2015, Early 2016, or Mid 2017). Check the color (Rose Gold) and whether the existing lid frame is compatible with this assembly.

Installation Note

Installation should be carried out by a skilled person. After replacement, Apple recommends calibrating the display assembly using the Repair Assistant function in macOS 26. For this, the new Lid Angle Sensor (from the old display) must be correctly installed and the operating system must be up to date. Follow the instructions in the repair manual for this device type.
