Although this display is an original OEM unit, a new Lid Angle Sensor is required after installation to complete display calibration. This sensor is not included and must be ordered separately. Additionally, macOS 26 or newer is required for calibration via Repair Assistant – please check your macOS version before repair.

Installation Note

Installation should be carried out by a qualified person. After replacing the display, a new Lid Angle Sensor must be installed, and calibration must be performed via Repair Assistant. Follow the instructions in the repair manual for this type of repair. Ensure the device is powered off and the battery is disconnected before commencing work.
