Ensure that your MacBook Air has model number A3114 and was manufactured in 2023 or 2024. After replacing the display, a new Lid Angle Sensor is required to complete the repair. For calibration via Repair Assistant, the device must be running macOS 26 or newer.

Installation Note

Installation should be performed by a qualified person. Before assembly, the device must be completely switched off and the battery disconnected. After installation, the Repair Assistant will be available on the device – perform calibration according to the repair instructions. Make sure your Mac is updated to macOS 26 to perform the calibration.
